Electrical Engineer

About the role

This role involves planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment, facility systems, and production infrastructure. You will troubleshoot motors, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, instrumentation, and automation systems, while maintaining transformers, switchboards, MCCs, and power distribution systems. You will respond to production breakdowns, support facility electrical maintenance across buildings and utilities, and participate in electrical installation and improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot motors, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, instrumentation, and automation systems
• Maintain transformers, Main Switchboards, Sub-Switchboards, MCCs, and power distribution systems
• Inspect electrical protection systems and ensure proper operation
• Respond promptly to production breakdowns and restore equipment operation
• Maintain electrical systems for buildings, workshops, offices, warehouses, and other facilities
• Develop and improve electrical preventive maintenance programs
• Analyze electrical failures and implement permanent corrective actions
• Participate in electrical installation, modification, upgrading, and commissioning
• Ensure electrical work complies with company safety procedures and applicable regulations

About you

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant industrial or manufacturing experience
• Experience with industrial motors, PLCs, VFDs, control panels, sensors, and power distribution systems
• Good knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong commitment to electrical safety and safe working practices
• Willing to support breakdowns, shutdowns, overtime, or on-call activities when required
