Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the supervision, coordination, inspection, and implementation of electrical works at the project site. The position will coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies such as DPWH to ensure that all electrical works are completed safely, properly, and according to approved plans, specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical plans, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Supervise and monitor electrical installation and construction activities at the project site.
• Coordinate electrical works with civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and other project activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding electrical requirements.
• Monitor the progress, quality, and compliance of electrical works.
• Inspect electrical materials, equipment, and installations before and during implementation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and discrepancies in electrical works.
• Ensure that electrical installations comply with approved plans, specifications, and applicable Philippine electrical codes and standards.
• Assist in preparing work schedules, material requirements, inspection requests, and other technical documents.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, inspection reports, and other project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and technical coordination meetings.
• Coordinate with DPWH and other government agencies when required.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding material specifications, deliveries, and technical concerns.
• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring electrical project activities, manpower, materials, and schedule.
• Ensure that electrical works are properly documented and ready for inspection and turnover.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PRC) is highly preferred/required depending on project requirements.
• At least 2–5 years of experience in construction or electrical engineering projects.
• Experience in site supervision and electrical installation is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, low-voltage systems, and related installations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and government agencies is an advantage.
• DPWH or government project experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good technical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on-site in Pasig.
• Willing to attend project meetings and coordinate with different project stakeholders.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and applicable construction standards.
• Strong site coordination and supervision skills.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Able to identify electrical design and installation issues.
• Can work independently and coordinate effectively with the project team.
• Responsible, organized, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
