Electrical Engineer

About the role

Electrical Engineer responsible for drafting, evaluating, and refining electrical layout plans, domestic water distribution networks, and large-scale irrigation systems for both horizontal land developments and vertical structures. The role involves preparing comprehensive in-house cost estimates, detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and material specifications for new development phases, building technical bidding packages, and evaluating commercial proposals from third-party contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, evaluate, and refine electrical layout plans, domestic water distribution networks, and large-scale irrigation systems for both horizontal land developments and vertical structures
• Prepare comprehensive in-house cost estimates, detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and material specifications for new development phases
• Build technical bidding packages, evaluate commercial proposals from third-party contractors, assist leadership in awarding packages, and draft clear technical selection recommendations
• Conduct regular site visits to audit, monitor, and report on the field construction progress of awarded engineering packages to ensure alignment with approved plans and strict timelines
• Audit contractor accomplishment reports, verify actual physical progress on-site, and process accurate progress billings
• Oversee routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of existing electrical networks, lighting systems, and water utility networks across multiple park locations
• Monitor and log electrical consumption for commercial businesses, tenants, and amenities operating within the park grounds to ensure accurate utility charging

About you

• Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license
• Must have at least 3 years of professional engineering experience
• Strong foundational knowledge or experience in designing and estimating underground electrical distribution systems, specifically medium voltage configurations (e.g., 4,800V / 4.8kV systems)
• Direct exposure or deep knowledge in design, layout, and cost estimation for extensive irrigation networks, specifically tailored for expansive green spaces like golf courses or memorial parks
• Valid driver's license and fully comfortable driving to and navigating various outdoor project sites for active field supervision
• Highly proficient in written and verbal communication, with the ability to confidently present technical metrics to contractors, write concise progress reports, and align with corporate stakeholders
