About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will assist in the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the design and engineering of solar PV systems, including grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid systems
- Conduct site assessments to determine solar installation requirements and electrical conditions
- Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems
- Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with approved designs, applicable electrical codes, and safety standards
- Assist in monitoring project schedules, materials, equipment, and site progress
- Prepare project documentation, reports, test results, and as-built drawings
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance of solar PV systems
- Perform other engineering duties as assigned
