Electrical Engineer

About the role

TES Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on diverse electrical maintenance and engineering projects. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of electrical systems across our operations. This position offers the chance to apply your technical expertise whilst contributing to the strategic objectives of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Inspecting, testing, and diagnosing electrical systems and equipment to identify faults and maintenance requirements
• Planning and executing maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and ensure operational continuity
• Designing electrical systems and modifications to meet operational needs and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshooting electrical problems and implementing effective corrective actions
• Preparing detailed maintenance reports and documentation of work performed
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and industry regulations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project implementation and operational improvements
• Training and supervising maintenance technicians on proper electrical procedures and safety protocols
• Managing inventory of electrical components and equipment
• Conducting risk assessments and recommending preventive maintenance strategies

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in electrical maintenance and engineering
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, power distribution, and industrial equipment
• Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
• Solid understanding of electrical safety codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical capability to perform fieldwork in various environments
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
• Professional engineering licensure or relevant certifications (preferred)
• Experience with industrial facilities or manufacturing environments (preferred)
