Electrical Engineer

About the role

Design, develop, and review electrical systems, layouts, schematics, and technical drawings. Prepare electrical plans, specifications, bill of materials, cost estimates, and technical reports. Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine electrical requirements and identify potential issues. Supervise and monitor electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities. Ensure electrical works comply with approved plans, specifications, engineering standards, and applicable Philippine regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review electrical systems, layouts, schematics, and technical drawings
• Prepare electrical plans, specifications, bill of materials, cost estimates, and technical reports
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine electrical requirements and identify potential issues
• Supervise and monitor electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities
• Ensure electrical works comply with approved plans, specifications, engineering standards, and applicable Philippine regulations
• Review electrical drawings and coordinate with architectural, mechanical, civil, and other engineering disciplines
• Perform electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, and system analysis as required
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and related technical problems and recommend appropriate corrective actions
• Monitor project progress, quality, materials, manpower, and compliance with established schedules
• Inspect delivered electrical materials and equipment to ensure compliance with approved specifications

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) is preferred.
• Relevant experience in electrical engineering, construction, facilities, manufacturing, or project management is an advantage
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical plans, schematics, and technical drawings
• Knowledgeable in electrical systems, equipment, installation, testing, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Philippine Electrical Code, applicable building codes, and occupational safety standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other electrical design and drafting software is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
