Electrical Engineer

About the role

As a key member of the Research & Development (R&D) team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, programming, and testing electrical systems and automation solutions for new machinery and products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, high-quality solutions that support the company's growth and manufacturing excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design electrical systems for machinery and automation equipment using EPLAN, and prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Develop mechanical layouts, prototypes, and test rigs using drawing tools, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
• Program, debug, and commission PLC-based control systems (mandatory), including HMI, servo systems, communication protocols, and motion control.
• Conduct research, testing, and validation to ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance with project specifications.
• Optimize existing products and manufacturing processes to improve performance, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design drawings, work instructions, testing reports, and development records.
• Support on-site machine installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance testing.
• Provide technical training to internal employees on electrical systems, machine operation, and work instructions.
• Participate in quality management system implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience as a Product Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Hands-on experience in electrical system design for machinery is mandatory.
• Strong PLC programming experience is mandatory.
• Practical knowledge of servo systems, HMI, variable frequency drives (VFD), industrial communication, and automation control systems.
• Proficient in EPLAN for electrical design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
