ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – MEP / CONSTRUCTION

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with minimum 3 - 4 years of building construction / MEP experience to supervise and coordinate electrical works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality and safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily electrical site activities and installation works.
• Coordinate LV, lighting, power distribution, DB/MDB/SMDB, cables, trays and conduits.
• Coordinate earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm and ELV systems.
• Review electrical drawings, SLDs and technical documents.
• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, QA/QC, consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitor manpower, materials, progress and site requirements.
• Coordinate IRs, MIRs, RFIs, inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and MEP clashes.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure quality, safety and compliance with project requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years relevant building construction / MEP experience.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical installation, drawings and site execution.
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning and UAE standards is an advantage.
• Experience in wet food/meat processing projects is preferred.

SOFTWARE

AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Word required.
Revit MEP, Navisworks, DIALux and Primavera/MS Project are an advantage.
