Electrical Engineer – Plant Engineering / Maintenance

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with valid PRC license — required
• Preferably with at least 2–3 years experience in an industrial/manufacturing or food-processing plant
• Knowledgeable in Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and applicable electrical safety standards
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of plant electrical systems
• Knowledgeable in electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
• Familiar with LV distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, panelboards, circuit breakers and protection devices
• Knowledgeable in generator sets, ATS, UPS and emergency power systems
• Familiar with grounding/bonding systems, insulation testing, earth resistance testing and electrical safety inspections
• Able to read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical plans, schematics and equipment manuals
• Capable of performing/assisting in load assessment, circuit sizing and electrical capacity evaluation
• Experience in food manufacturing/FMCG facilities is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel and maintenance documentation/reporting
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, emergency breakdowns and planned shutdown activities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults involving motors, panels, breakers, controls, refrigeration equipment, production machines and utilities.
• Inspect and maintain grounding, breakers, protection devices, panels, MCCs, transformers, generators
• Implement LOTO and electrical safety procedures during maintenance activities.
• Maintain updated single-line diagrams, equipment records, PM schedules and electrical inspection reports.
• Coordinate electrical works of contractors and suppliers and verify compliance with approved plans/specifications.
• Support installation and commissioning of new production equipment and plant improvement projects.
• Recommend improvements for energy efficiency, equipment reliability and electrical safety.
• Assist the Plant Engineer in electrical projects, technical evaluation, budgeting and CAPEX/OPEX preparation.

Pay: Up to Php25,000.00 per month
