Electrical Engineer

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be exclusively supporting our long-standing client with the appointment of an Electrical Engineer on a permanent basis. Having placed the Senior Engineer this is an excellent opportunity to work closely and develop your skills with an experienced leader.

This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday, offering overtime and an excellent career progression route. You will have the opportunity to grow your PLC and Controls knowledge and skills.

We are looking for to speak to candidates who have;

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline. We would consider time served/HNC/HND.
• Experience working within heavy industrial engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical installations.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting, particularly Siemens S5 and S7 systems.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive and results-focused approach.
