ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Responsibilities & Authorities:

· To amend & produce electrical wiring /schematic drawings, ensure every cranes/hoists delivered by VME with updated schematic drawing using EPLAN

· To plan, coordinate & monitor the electrical works from the electrical production team and ensure adherence of project’s specifications and schedule with weekly updates.

· To produce electrical layout with electrical components bracket drawings for the project using AUTOCAD.

· To liaise with factory workers / subcontractors on the electrical bracket fabrication and ensure all the electrical components and brackets are prepared accordingly prior to each delivery through component checklist.

· To plan, monitor, source, purchase and replenish the electrical components & electrical consumable for electrical production.

· To document the functional test and troubleshooting works done by the electrical production team.

· To liaise with third party/suppliers on the new products purchases, subcontract works, commissioning works, trainings, certification and technical supports.

· To prepare electrical bill of material (BOM) list and perform electrical design calculation for every new project received.

· To be responsible for the development of new electrical products and seek for new improvement on the existing electrical control system/design in accordance to the design code (NEC/IEC)

· To carry out task as per ISO 9001 standard procedures

· To develop new electrical design standard and contribute electrical technical knowledge obtained through troubleshooting, technical advice from supplier or trainings to the “VME Electrical Library” folder.

Education & Experience (Preferred):

· Diploma or Degree in Electrical /Mechatronic/Electronic or Equivalent.

Minimum 2 years working experience in relevant field.

Skills & Knowledge (Required or To Be Provided if do not possess):

· Knowledge in AutoCAD & EPLAN

· Knowledge in Microsoft Office

· Able to interpret electrical schematic and engineering drawings

· Basic knowledge in electrical design and troubleshooting.

· Good interpersonal & communication skills

· Able to work independent & able to work in a team, self-motivated, dynamic, hardworking, positive thinking.

Required language(s): Chinese (position need- deal with China suppliers) , English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
