Electrical engineer

Key Responsibilities Design and review electrical layouts for solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted) Prepare and verify SLD, cable sizing, earthing, and protection schemes Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV plants Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and procurement teams Ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards , local electrical codes, and safety regulations Conduct site inspections and resolve electrical issues during execution Support grid synchronization , inverter configuration, and performance testing Review vendor drawings, BOQs, and technical documents Assist in operation & maintenance (O&M) planning and troubleshooting Prepare technical reports and as-built documentation Technical Skills Solar PV design tools (e.g., PVsyst , AutoCAD) Electrical calculations (load flow, cable sizing, fault levels) Knowledge of grid interconnection standards MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
