ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

About the role

Design, install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and facilities in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and facilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable operation of electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Monitor the performance of electrical systems and recommend improvements for efficiency and safety
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other departments on electrical projects and maintenance activities
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and engineering documentation
• Assist in planning and implementation of electrical projects, equipment installation, and system upgrades
• Support production and maintenance teams by providing technical expertise on electrical-related concerns

About you

• Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer
• Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial plants, or construction
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, motors, control panels, and industrial equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of electrical design software is an advantage
• Familiar with electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance practices
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
