Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join PowerChina B7 Philippines Corp. This is a full-time position based in the Pangasinan Ilocos Region. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and infrastructure projects. This position is strategically important to our organization as it directly contributes to the successful delivery of our engineering projects and the maintenance of our technical excellence in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise project execution, evaluate, and monitor manpower productivity.

• Schedule the work in accordance with project timeline and deadlines.

• Maintain the different phases of the project.

• Identify and resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during project implementation

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment on site

• Perform quality assurance and quality control checks to ensure all work meets required specifications and safety standards

• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols throughout all project phases

• Maintain accurate project records and provide regular technical reports to consultants, architects, and stakeholders.

• Prepare technical documents and ensure the the work is carried in accordance with the drawing specifications.

• Execute other tasks assigned by the supervisor

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

• Registered Electrical Engineer license is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and industrial equipment

• Proficiency with electrical design software and CAD tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar programs

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments

• Good command in written and spoken English

• Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Healthy, no major illness

• Willing to be relocated to work anywhere in the Philippines
