  • Design PCB layouts for medium- to high-density circuit boards using techniques appropriate for high-speed signals with impedance controls.
  • Create test plans for verifying the designs.

You'll also support with:

  • Performing functional testing under a variety of conditions (e.g., thermal).
  • Accompanying equipment to and from labs for EMI testing.
  • Performing soldering/rework on PCBAs as needed.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a design engineering role, ideally with a strong background in microcontroller-based systems involving audio.
  • Knowledge about audio electronics and/or the industry.
  • Basic knowledge of EMI/EMC requirements and design/mitigation techniques.
  • Knowledge of common communication protocols (e.g., serial, I2C, SPI).
  • Solid understanding of the use of common test tools (e.g., oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer).
  • Understanding of audio quality test methods is a bonus.
  • Experience with power supply and amplifier design is a bonus.
  • Experience with Altium Designer is a bonus.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written skills in English.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and can work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and diffuse challenging situations using acceptable and appropriate methods.
  • Able to multi-task and be flexible in a dynamic work environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
