Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in designing, programming, debugging, and maintaining PLC-based control systems. The qualified applicant must understand machine mechanical functionality and be able to create and update electrical schematics.

The position requires experience with motor controls, analog and digital input/output devices, electrical control systems, and stepper/servo drives. Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs is desirable, and SolidWorks Electrical experience is a plus.

Job Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of five years of design experience.
• Prior hands-on experience designing, programming, debugging, and maintaining PLC-based control systems. Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs is desirable.
• An understanding of machine mechanical functionality.
• Ability to create and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD. SolidWorks Electrical experience is a plus.
• Prior experience with AC and DC variable-speed motor controls, analog and digital input/output devices, and electrical control systems.
• Prior experience interfacing with and programming stepper/servo drives.
