Electrical Engineer

About the role

You'll work as part of our experienced design and project delivery team, delivering electrical infrastructure designs across a diverse range of projects throughout Queensland.

Key responsibilities

• Energex and Ergon Energy distribution network designs
• Underground Residential Distribution (URD) designs
• Residential and commercial subdivision electrical reticulation
• Street lighting design
• Overhead and underground network design
• Large-lot subdivision and network augmentation projects
• Coordination with Energex, Ergon Energy, developers, civil consultants and other project stakeholders
• Supporting projects from early concept and feasibility through detailed design, approvals and construction

About you

• A relevant Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in electrical distribution network design
• Energex and/or Ergon Energy design experience
• An understanding of Queensland electrical distribution standards and requirements
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality designs
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage priorities and work effectively within a busy project environment
• Take ownership of your work, enjoy solving problems and want to continue developing professionally
