Electrical Engineer

1. Electrical Design & Engineering

·       Assist in electrical schematic and wiring diagram development.

·       Support electrical panel and cabinet design.

·       Select appropriate electrical components such as:

·       Power supplies

·       Relays/contactors

·       UPS systems

·       Connectors and terminals

·       Cables and wiring accessories

·       Sensors and switches.

·       Assist in electrical load calculations and power requirements.

·       Support cable sizing, protection, grounding, and circuit design.

·       Review and update electrical drawings based on production and engineering changes.

2. Equipment Assembly & Integration

·       Support electrical assembly and wiring of machines, cabinets, and sub-assemblies.

·       Ensure wiring is completed according to approved drawings and specifications.

·       Perform electrical continuity, insulation, grounding, and functional checks.

·       Work with technicians and production personnel to resolve assembly issues.

·       Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.

3. Testing & Troubleshooting

·       Perform electrical testing and functional verification.

·       Troubleshoot electrical faults during assembly, testing, and commissioning.

·       Identify root causes of electrical failures and recommend corrective actions.

·       Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

·       Use test equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers, clamp meters, and other electrical measurement equipment.

4. Documentation

·       Prepare and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, electrical specifications, test procedures, inspection checklists, test reports, and engineering change documentation.

·       Update engineering documentation following design or production changes.

·       Maintain proper revision control of engineering documents.

Requirements

Applicable to Malaysian's candidates only & preferably from Johor State which has no issue in commuting to job location

·       Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or related field.

·       1–3 years of working experience in electrical engineering, manufacturing, automation, or equipment assembly.

·       Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

·       Basic understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, protection, and electrical safety.

·       Able to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

·       Familiar with electrical test equipment and basic troubleshooting.

·       Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

·       Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar software is an advantage.

·       Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Able to work independently as well as in a team.

·       Willing to work on-site and support equipment installation, testing, and commissioning when required.
