Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
GLS Premium Construction Inc. is urgently hiring a licensed and competent Electrical Engineer to join our technical team. The successful candidate will spearhead engineering designs, technical documentation, and site execution specifically tailored for Solar PV installation projects
Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop commercial, industrial, or residential Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Prepare comprehensive electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and technical blueprints using AutoCAD.
• Perform electrical sizing calculations for solar components, including inverters, batteries, cables, breakers, and protection systems.
• Oversee on-site construction, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar PV installations.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, clients, and sub-contractors to maintain standard construction timelines.
• Ensure all engineering designs and site installations conform strictly with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and occupational safety regulations. [1, 2]

Required Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Credentials: Must be a licensed Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) or Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience, with direct background handling Solar Projects.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and specialized solar design modeling software.
• Flexibility: Willing to conduct field inspections and handle project deployments
