ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

BKL Construction Corporation is looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our construction team.

JOB SUMMARY

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical works at project sites, ensuring that installations are completed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and monitor electrical installation works at the project site.
• Review electrical plans, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works are completed according to schedule.
• Conduct site inspections and verify the quality of electrical installations.
• Prepare and review electrical material requirements and quantities.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Monitor compliance with electrical codes, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and other required project documentation.
• Identify site issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Assist in preparing estimates, bill of quantities, and variation orders when required.
• Ensure proper documentation of electrical works, inspections, testing, and completion.
• Perform other duties related to electrical engineering and construction as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• With experience in construction, electrical installation, or project site supervision is an advantage.

• Knowledge of electrical plans, specifications, and construction standards.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Excel.

• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.

• Can work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
