Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and oversee implementation of electrical systems that meet project requirements
• Develop and review electrical engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and documentation
• Design complex power distribution and lighting systems
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
• Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Manage projects while balancing hands-on engineering with delegation and oversight
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into overall facility designs
• Communicate project status, technical information, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
• Coordinate ARC Flash Studies and work with external engineering subcontractors
• Help ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred

Schedule & Compensation

Location: St. Paul, MN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours

• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience involving commercial or industrial facility/building design
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting project deadlines

Pay: $125,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
