Position Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to own the end-to-end design and development of complex PCB assemblies for robotics, aerospace, defense, autonomous systems, and other high-reliability hardware applications.

Responsibilities

• Own PCB designs from schematic capture and layout through fabrication, assembly, bring-up, and validation
• Design complex PCB assemblies using Altium Designer
• Debug and troubleshoot PCBAs using standard lab equipment
• Make design trade-offs across performance, reliability, manufacturability, thermal, packaging, cost, and schedule
• Work closely with mechanical, firmware, software, manufacturing, and systems teams
• Support hardware integration, testing, root-cause analysis, and design improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's or PhD preferred
• 3-5+ years in electrical hardware development for robotics, aerospace, defense, automotive, medical devices, drones/UAS, industrial equipment, or other complex hardware
• 1+ year of full-time, in-house experience at an early-stage hardware startup required
• Strong hands-on PCB design experience using Altium Designer
• Experience taking complex PCBAs through the full design, fabrication, assembly, bring-up, and test lifecycle
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with evolving requirements and significant hands-on ownership

Security Clearance & Eligibility Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship: Required by government regulations as a prerequisite for clearance eligibility.
• Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Current Status: Holding an active clearance is not required to apply. Candidates with a current or active Secret or Top Secret clearance are highly encouraged to apply.
