Job Description:

Reliable Engineering Services is looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to supervise, monitor, and manage electrical works at the project site, ensuring that all electrical installations, systems, and equipment comply with project specifications, approved drawings, safety requirements, and applicable engineering standards.

This is a site-based position at DHA City Karachi. The selected candidate must be willing to work and stay at the assigned project site as required to supervise electrical activities, monitor installation work, conduct inspections, and ensure quality and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor electrical installation works at the project site.
• Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Inspect electrical materials, equipment, and installations to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site teams.
• Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure proper installation of power distribution systems, lighting, wiring, earthing, and other electrical infrastructure.
• Conduct site inspections and identify electrical defects, non-conformities, and technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, project standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections, testing, approvals, and site progress.
• Prepare electrical inspection reports, progress reports, and technical documentation.
• Identify site issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely completion of electrical works.
• Remain available at the project site to supervise electrical activities and resolve technical issues as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Previous experience in electrical engineering, construction projects, and site supervision is preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical installations, power distribution, lighting systems, wiring, earthing, and electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical drawings, testing procedures, applicable codes, and engineering standards.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Ability to inspect electrical works and ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Willingness to work and stay at the project site as required.
• This is a site-based position at DHA City Karachi. Candidates must be willing to remain at the assigned project site for the duration of the project, as required.
