Job Summary

The Techno-Commercial Engineer will be responsible for site coordination, technical discussions, proposal preparation, cost estimation, client interaction, and order execution for industrial products such as electrical panels, diesel generators, automation systems, security solutions, FRP products, and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

꽎 Technical Responsibilities

· Visit industrial sites to understand client requirements and project scope

· Study drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents

· Coordinate with OEMs / manufacturers for technical inputs and approvals

· Prepare technical submittals, datasheets, and compliance statements

· Assist in product selection based on site conditions and standards

· Support pre-bid and post-order technical clarifications

¡Au- Commercial Responsibilities

· Prepare techno-commercial offers, quotations, and cost estimates

· Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, payment terms, and warranty

· Coordinate PO processing and contract finalization

· Track payments, invoicing, and commercial documentation

· Maintain cost sheets, margin analysis, and profitability reports

· Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams

· Monitor material delivery, installation progress, and commissioning

· Attend site meetings and prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting)

· Resolve site-level technical and commercial issues

· Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

· Develop and maintain strong client relationships

· Support business development team in lead conversion

· Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities

· Provide after-sales technical support when required

Products & Systems Handled

· Diesel Generators & Power Solutions

· Industrial Automation & Control Systems

· Security Solutions (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, etc.)

· FRP Products & Structures

· Material Handling Equipment (hoists, cranes, conveyors, etc.)

Key Skills Required

· Strong technical knowledge of industrial systems

· Good understanding of commercial terms & costing

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

· Excellent communication & negotiation skills

· Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, AutoCAD (basic)

· Willingness to travel to industrial project sites

· Timely submission of quotations & proposals

· Conversion ratio of enquiries to orders

· Accuracy in costing & technical compliance

· Customer satisfaction & repeat business

· Coordination effectiveness with site & vendors
