Electrical Engineer

Essential functions:

• Manage engineering projects and direct elements of production.
• Perform circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout for embedded systems.
• Select components and evaluate electrical systems by analyzing data sheets.
• Develop embedded hardware and integrate high-speed interconnects, including PCIe, USB HID, and I2C.
• Assemble, integrate, and test hardware prototypes.
• Create production files including drawings, manual instructions, ATP, and ATR.
• Create and manage BOMs for multiple programs.
• Manage suppliers and develop new supply sources.
• Design and apply cost-reductive changes.
• Provide data management for quotations and guide technicians.

Competence Requirements:

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and component data sheets.
• Problem solver with a hands-on approach.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Team player.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willing to travel as required.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 3 years of experience in project management and hardware design.
• Experience with PCB design, cables, connectors, and electronics.
• Hands-on experience with standard communication protocols including I2C, PCIe, and USB.
• Knowledge of embedded environments and operating systems, including Linux and Windows.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C or C++ and Python for embedded firmware integration.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assemblies.
• Ability to work in metric and imperial systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP is an advantage.
• Must be a US citizen or a Green Cardholder

Salary range 60K – 120K
