Electrical Engineer

Job responsibilities:

• Perform electrical load calculations, system sizing, single-line diagrams (SLD), and equipment layouts for Solar PV (Rooftop/Ground-Mounted) and EV charging infrastructure (AC & DC Fast Chargers).

• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and utility authorities to manage grid interconnection requests, transformer upgrades, permits, and net-metering agreements.

• Supervise on-site civil and electrical installation works by contractors and technicians, ensuring strict compliance with engineering drawings, project milestones, and high-risk safety protocols (hot work, work-at-height, LOTO).

• Lead Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), insulation and string testing, EV charger network/protocol verification (OCPP), grid synchronization, and commercial project handover.

• Plan and execute routine PM schedules for solar arrays, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and EV chargers to ensure peak operational efficiency and asset longevity.

• Diagnose complex electrical faults, execute rapid corrective repairs, and perform root-cause analysis (RCA) to minimize system downtime and energy loss.

• Track daily energy yield, Performance Ratio (PR), and EVSE utilization rates via SCADA/CMS platforms, compiling regular performance dashboards and incident reports for management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power, Energy, or related discipline).

• Minimum 2–4 years of full lifecycle experience (design, installation/construction supervision, and maintenance) in Solar PV projects and/or EV charging station infrastructure.

• Associate Electrical Engineer License (ใบประกอบวิชาชีพวิศวกรรมควบคุม ภาคีวิศวกรไฟฟ้ากำลัง) is required / strongly preferred.

• Hands-on experience in engineering design software and electrical calculation tools.

• Demonstrated contractor management, site supervision, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Hold a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to branch facilities or provincial project sites as required.
