Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for construction projects. This role involves ensuring that all systems are installed and operating according to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implementation: Prepare and review MEP system designs, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, to meet project requirements.

Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, construction teams, and other engineers to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems into the overall project.

Site Supervision: Monitor the installation and performance of MEP systems on-site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.

Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections, tests, and commissioning of MEP systems to verify functionality and quality.

Budget Management: Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost estimates for MEP systems, keeping project costs in check.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during construction and post-installation phases.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, as-built drawings, and material submissions.

Compliance: Ensure that all MEP systems comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in MEP design and project coordination within the construction industry.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software.

Strong knowledge of local building codes and MEP standards.
