Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join J & A Associates Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative electrical and electronic engineering projects within our dynamic organisation. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing electrical solutions that drive our business forward and enhance our competitive position in the market.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies for electrical engineering projects
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Perform testing and validation of electrical equipment and systems to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical support to resolve problems efficiently
• Ensure adherence to relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety requirements
• Maintain accurate project records and technical documentation throughout project lifecycle
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in electrical engineering practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering

• Knowledge of electrical design principles, circuit theory, and power systems

• Proficiency with industry-standard CAD software and electrical design tools

• Excellent understanding of electrical safety standards and relevant regulations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy

• Willing to travel when needed.

-          4 working days -Monday to Thursday

-          Yearly Increment,

-          Allowance, Mileage & Flight provided (travel stipends etc.)

-          Annual Leave (16 days), Achieved 5 years of service (21 days)
