Electrical Engineer

TKE Engineering and Design is a mid-sized consulting engineering firm that has been serving the Oil & Gas industry for over 30 years. TKE provides comprehensive engineering and design services for projects across the United States. We are currently looking to expand our team with an electrical engineer who has experience in natural gas facilities, such as meter sites and compressor stations.

*** FLEXIBLE FRIDAYS*** Half Day Friday's if you meet your 40 hrs. for the week.

Responsibilities:

• Design medium- and low-voltage switchgear, MCCs, PLC panels, UPS systems, and instrumentation systems.
• Perform station load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and conduit fill calculations.
• Develop MCC wiring schematics, one-line diagrams, electrical plans, grounding plans, conduit routing, and installation details.
• Perform lighting design and PCR/auxiliary building layouts.
• Conduct ETAP arc flash studies and other electrical power system analyses.
• Prepare and revise electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Support equipment selection, procurement, vendor coordination, and construction activities.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes, standards, and project specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years min. of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in the midstream oil and gas industry, including meter sites and compressor stations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with electrical power distribution, PLC panel design, and ETAP arc flash studies.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
