Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: MA (Onsite)

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate electrical and electronic circuits for product applications.
• Support PCB layout, architecture, and PCBA development across digital, RF, power, and embedded systems.
• Use Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools to support hardware development.
• Perform board bring-up, hardware debugging, component-level troubleshooting, and rework.
• Conduct hardware validation and testing using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition equipment.
• Ensure designs meet applicable FCC, CE, UL, and EMI/EMC compliance requirements.
• Apply design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-test (DFT) principles throughout product development.
• Collaborate with mechanical and embedded software engineers to integrate electronics into complete product assemblies.
• Support hardware and firmware integration using a working knowledge of C/C++.
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and design validation records.
• Contribute to prototype development, manufacturing readiness, and commercial product release.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical or electronic product development.
• Strong knowledge of circuit design, PCB architecture, and PCBA development.
• Experience with professional PCB design tools such as Altium Designer.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware issues, validate circuit designs, and perform component-level rework.
• Familiarity with electronic testing and diagnostic instruments.
• Understanding of product safety, regulatory compliance, and EMI/EMC testing.
• Knowledge of DFM and DFT principles.
• Experience integrating electronic hardware with mechanical assemblies and embedded systems.
• Basic proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with hardware-firmware interactions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience taking electronic products from prototype through production and commercial release.
• Familiarity with PLC-based control systems.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams across hardware, firmware, mechanical design, and manufacturing.
