Electrical Engineer

We are currently partnering with a well-established engineering organisation that is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. The role:

You will be involved in the design, development and ongoing support of electrical and electronic systems, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical and electronic solutions for a range of products and systems.
• Carry out engineering calculations and support continuous product improvements.
• Review engineering drawings and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement and commercial teams.
• Support projects from concept through to deployment and lifecycle support.

Essentials:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, or possess equivalent industry experience.
• Experience within electrical and/or electronic design environments.
• Strong analytical, engineering calculation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using CAD and engineering design software.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and industry best practices.

Desirable Experience:

• Product design and development experience.
• Experience working with DC power systems.
• Familiarity with PLM systems.
• Experience within marine, defence, offshore, subsea, manufacturing or other regulated industries. Knowledge of relevant industry standards.
