Electrical Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineering for a Contract job with a client in Londonderry NH 03053. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Analog & Digital Circuit Design and PCB Design & ECAD Tools.

Rate Range: $74/hour to $82/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Summary:

• Seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and production of advanced military electro-optical, laser, and night-vision products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support electrical design and new product development from concept to production.
• Design and analyze analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power conversion circuits.
• Develop and test PCBAs, electronic modules, and production test equipment.
• Perform circuit simulation, troubleshooting, EMI/EMC testing, and design verification.
• Ensure designs meet reliability, manufacturing, power, size, weight, and military environmental requirements.
• Use ECAD/CAE tools for circuit design, simulation, and analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation, participate in design reviews, and support root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and transition designs into production.
• Provide ongoing engineering support for existing production products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical hardware development experience in defense, aerospace, medical devices, or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, power electronics, and laboratory testing.
• Experience with Siemens Cadence OrCAD Capture CIS, Allegro, and PSpice.
• Excellent communication, documentation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, manufacturing work instructions, ISO 9001/AS9100 standards, and Agile PLM or similar systems.
