Hiring: Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution

Location: Austin, TX

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with strong MEP electrical design and Revit MEP experience to support electrical power distribution projects from design through construction and energization

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution systems from project scope through construction.
• Prepare IFP/IFC electrical deliverables using Revit MEP, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, grounding drawings, underground conduit drawings, power plans, and lighting layouts.
• Apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) to develop code-compliant designs.
• Perform electrical calculations for overcurrent protection, conductor sizing, transformers, and grounding.
• Coordinate with Design Managers, Manufacturing, Construction, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct field walks and surveys, review equipment submittals, and respond to RFIs and design questions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional ability.
• 3–5 years of commercial and/or industrial MEP electrical design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP for electrical design and documentation.
• Experience with NEC code compliance , conductor sizing, transformer protection, and grounding.
• Experience designing low-voltage power distribution systems (480V to 120V) .
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Preferred Skill

• Experience with ElumTools for lighting calculations.
