This role covers electrical engineering in the broad sense: electrical, RF, radar, antenna, signal processing, power or electronics work. We want people from many corners of the field.

What you would do

1. Review electrical, RF and electronics designs for physical realism

2. Analyze signals, spectrum use and sensor data

3. Model or simulate circuits, antennas, power systems or RF links

4. Compare test results and assumptions against real hardware

5. Write clear technical notes our engineers can act on

6. Brief government engineers on findings when asked

Who we hope to meet

An electrical engineer with 3+ years of hands on work in industry, a lab, a utility or the military, and a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. You must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. Radar, electronic warfare, counter UAS or missile defense experience would be a plus, as would a PE license or a prior clearance.

Schedule and pay

The role is a remote, part-time 1099 contract for about 10 to 20 hours a week, open to candidates anywhere in the U.S. We pay $80 to $125 per hour based on experience.
