Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Electrical Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate electrical installation works at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical works are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily electrical installation activities at project sites.
• Coordinate façade lighting, architectural lighting, internal lighting, landscape lighting, and outdoor lighting installation works.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, and approved lighting layouts.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, main contractors, MEP contractors, and other site teams.
• Monitor the installation of LED fixtures, lighting cables, conduits, junction boxes, drivers, control panels, and related electrical accessories.
• Ensure all installation works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain daily site progress reports, manpower reports, and material consumption records.
• Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, and site installation schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate Inspection Requests (IR/WIR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), and testing activities.
• Assist with testing and commissioning of lighting systems, including functional checks and control system testing.
• Identify site issues, coordinate corrective actions, and report technical problems to the project manager.
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations, site HSE requirements, and permit-to-work procedures.
• Coordinate with the design and estimation teams regarding site conditions, technical clarifications, and drawing revisions.
• Monitor work progress and ensure project activities are completed within the agreed timeline.
• Assist in preparing snag lists, as-built drawings, operation and maintenance (O&M) documents, and project handover documents.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electrical site engineering or electrical installation projects; façade or architectural lighting experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings, lighting layouts, cables, conduits, LED fixtures, and lighting control systems.
• Experience in site supervision, installation coordination, testing, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of UAE electrical standards, site safety procedures, and inspection documentation.
• Good communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• UAE driving licence is mandatory.
