Electrical Engineer (Construction/Landscape)

Desert Group is Hiring – Electrical Engineer – Construction & Landscape

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction, landscaping and/or swimming pool projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising and ensuring the successful execution of electrical works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate electrical works across construction, landscape and swimming pool projects.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, single-line diagrams and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, civil engineers, landscape engineers, MEP teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
• Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, inspection requests and technical documents.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality and progress of electrical works.
• Coordinate electrical requirements for landscape lighting, irrigation systems, water features and swimming pool equipment.
• Coordinate power supply and electrical connections for pumps, filtration systems, control panels and other pool equipment.
• Monitor electrical works related to external lighting, street lighting, garden lighting and decorative lighting.
• Coordinate with utility/service providers and relevant authorities where required.
• Identify technical issues and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
• Monitor manpower, materials and equipment requirements for electrical works.
• Ensure electrical materials and installations comply with approved specifications.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, material requirements and cost estimates where required.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging and handover activities.
• Maintain project documentation, progress reports and inspection records.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Strong experience in construction, landscaping and/or swimming pool projects.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical installations, testing and commissioning.
• Experience with landscape lighting, external lighting, irrigation electrical systems and swimming pool electrical systems is highly preferred.
