Job Description:

RSD Consultancy is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer – Testing & Commissioning for a Hyperscale Data Centre project at Airoli, Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute end-to-end electrical Testing & Commissioning activities for Data Centre systems.

* Testing & commissioning of HT/LT Panels, Switchgear, Transformers, DG Sets, UPS, Batteries, STS, ATS, RPP, Busway & PDUs.

* Prepare and execute Pre-Functional Checklists, L4 Functional Test Scripts and L5 IST inputs.

* Support Load Bank Testing, Black Building Tests, Utility Failure Simulations and N+1/2N redundancy testing.

* Review SLDs, electrical drawings, protection settings, test reports and commissioning documents.

* Verify EPMS/SCADA integration, alarms, metering and points-list validation.

* Support electrical systems for liquid cooling infrastructure including CDU power feeds, pump panels, VFDs and leak detection interlocks.

* Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, vendors, consultants and project teams.

* Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure timely rectification and closure of snags.

* Maintain complete testing, commissioning and compliance records.

* Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements:

* 5–8 years of relevant Electrical Testing & Commissioning experience.

* Data Centre experience is mandatory; Hyperscale experience preferred.

* Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, UPS, DG, Transformers, Switchgear and Power Distribution.

* Experience in commissioning scripts and checklist preparation.

* Good knowledge of electrical protection, testing procedures and test instruments.

* Exposure to EPMS/SCADA and Integrated Systems Testing will be an advantage.

* Strong communication, coordination and troubleshooting skills.

* Willing to work at Airoli, Mumbai project site.
