What they need
- Create and update electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, calculations, and schedules.
- Develop designs for power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems as per applicable codes and standards.
- Prepare 2D/3D electrical models using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar CAD/BIM tools.
- Coordinate with engineers and modelers for interdisciplinary design and clash resolution.
- Support construction administration, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits.
- Ensure quality, timelines, and project requirements are met.
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in electrical design/building systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge of power, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Basic knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and related electrical codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP/CAD-BIM tools.
- SolidWorks experience is preferred.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
