What they need
The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible to design a high voltage substation based on the Projects' requirements.
Qualifications:
- B.S. Electrical Engineering
- Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer
- 2+ years of experience in electrical design or electrical engineering (experience in construction projects is preferred).
- Capable of designing secondary design protection, SCADA
- Cable Schedules
- Interface Design
Detailed Job Description:
- Evaluates available Structural/Architectural Drawings for Electrical Design.
- Consideration of Site Planned Schedule and Electrical Budget Cost.
- Presents a Conceptual Drawing using Sketch up or similar application for Site Operation and Client and/or Consultant (if required)
- Prepares complete Electrical Methods of Statement
- Provides detailed Material List on each design prepared.
- Provides site assistance if design is a bit complex
- Other tasks may be assigned from time to time.
