Job Summary

Wattsun Energy India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Junior Solar Design Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in AutoCAD Electrical. The candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical drawings for solar power plant projects and assisting with KSEB and Electrical Inspectorate (EI) liaisoning, documentation, and approval processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) using AutoCAD.
• Assist in the design and documentation of solar PV power plant projects.
• Prepare electrical layouts, cable routing, and related technical drawings.
• Coordinate KSEB applications, inspections, and approval documentation.
• Assist with Electrical Inspectorate (EI) liaisoning and statutory approval procedures.
• Coordinate with project and installation teams for technical requirements.
• Support site surveys, project documentation, and commissioning activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Basic knowledge of electrical drawings, SLDs, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of solar power plant design is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with KSEB and Electrical Inspectorate procedures is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

Preferred Candidate

A motivated candidate with strong AutoCAD Electrical skills who is willing to learn solar power plant design and handle coordination with KSEB and the Electrical Inspectorate.
