Position: Electrical & HVAC Engineer Draughtsman

Location: Greater Noida
Experience: 2-5 years
Department: AHU
Reports To: Design Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify electrical control panel drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control circuit drawings, and panel layouts.
• Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) based on electrical drawings and project requirements.
• Review electrical designs and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Understand HVAC systems, including AHU, FCU, Fan Wall Units, chilled-water systems, fans, valves, sensors, and associated controls.
• Understand PLC I/O configuration, digital and analog signals, interlocks, alarms, sequences, and control logic.
• Coordinate with the electrical, production, commissioning, and project teams for smooth project execution.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical, PLC, and HVAC control-related issues during testing and commissioning.
• Prepare technical documents, I/O lists, cable schedules, and other project-related documentation as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of electrical control panel design and wiring.
• Experience in BOM preparation and electrical component selection.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems and their control philosophy.
• Ability to understand electrical drawings, control schematics, and PLC I/O diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems will be preferred
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet/IP, or Profinet.
• Experience in HVAC control panels or industrial automation projects.
• Knowledge of electrical components such as MCCB, MCB, contactors, relays, VFDs, SMPS, PLCs, and control transformers.

Experience

2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical design, HVAC controls, automation, or control-panel engineering.
