Electrical Engineer - Fitout

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with strong experience in interior fit-out projects to manage electrical works from design and planning through site execution and completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage electrical works for commercial, retail, office, F&B and other interior fit-out projects.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, MEP teams and subcontractors.
• Supervise electrical installation, testing and commissioning works.
• Coordinate lighting, power, DBs, cable trays, containment and low-current systems.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and technical documents.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate electrical works with architectural, HVAC, plumbing and other services.
• Monitor project progress, quality and site activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during execution.
• Prepare material requirements and coordinate with procurement.
• Ensure compliance with UAE electrical standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection requests and handover documentation.
• Support project completion, testing, commissioning and snagging.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8 years of experience in interior fit-out projects.
• Strong UAE experience in commercial fit-out is preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical installation, lighting, power and ELV systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/MEP is an advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site activities and subcontractors.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
