- Work with existing Python-based functional test scripts to execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and make modifications as needed
- Perform functional testing, analyze results, and document findings
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing test systems
- Investigate hardware failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with firmware and software engineers to validate features and performance
- Support prototype builds and production ramp activities
- Develop clear and organized technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years of hardware design experience
- Strong proficiency in Altium Designer (schematic capture and PCB layout)
- Experience with digital and analog circuit design
- Experience with high-speed PCB layout techniques
- Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation
- Familiarity with functional test systems and automated testing
- Basic knowledge of Python or experience working with Python-based test scripts
- Must be located near Chaska, MN, and available for hybrid onsite work
Senior-level candidates with deeper experience in high-speed design or test system architecture are encouraged to apply.
