Electrical Engineer – Internal Documentation & Solar Power Plant

Job Description:

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in internal documentation, project coordination, and electrical works, preferably with experience in solar power plant or large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and maintain internal electrical engineering documents, reports, and records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly electrical progress reports.
• Maintain documentation for electrical installations, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Prepare and update method statements, inspection requests, checklists, material submittals, and technical reports.
• Monitor and organize electrical drawings, revisions, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with site engineers, construction teams, QA/QC, HSE, and project management regarding documentation and technical requirements.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings, punch lists, inspection records, and completion documents.
• Monitor the submission and approval status of electrical documents.
• Ensure that project documentation is properly filed, updated, and easily retrievable for internal audits and project requirements.
• Review electrical work progress against approved drawings and project specifications.
• Assist in coordinating with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Perform other electrical engineering and documentation duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably a Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE).
• At least 2–3 years of experience in electrical engineering, construction, or solar power projects.
• Experience in technical/internal documentation is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings, installation standards, testing, and commissioning.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with Chinese and Filipino project teams.
• Willing to work on-site and relocate to the project location when required.
