Our Building Services team is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the project delivery in Macau. This role offers the opportunity to develop and manage electrical building services designs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and engage with clients, authorities, and contractors to deliver high-quality, compliant, and sustainable engineering solutions.

Responsibilities: 

• Produce electrical engineering design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, schematics, reports, and specifications.
• Develop electrical building services designs in compliance with applicable Macau codes, standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, architectural, and specialist disciplines to ensure fully integrated solutions.
• Conduct technical reviews and design checks to maintain quality, compliance, and engineering best practices.
• Support responses to RFIs, site queries, authority comments, and design clarifications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Independently manage and deliver electrical design packages from concept through detailed design and construction support stages.
• Lead or contribute to multidisciplinary design coordination, ensuring alignment on interface requirements and design intent.
• Engage with clients, authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders to present technical solutions, address queries, and support project delivery.
• Identify design risks, propose engineering solutions, and contribute to value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in project planning activities, including resource planning, programme coordination, and technical reviews.
• Undertake site visits, inspections, and construction support activities as required.
• Uphold design quality, safety, sustainability, and operational performance across all electrical engineering work

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in electrical building services design within consultancy, contractor, developer, or project environments.
• Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, ELV, emergency power, and life safety systems.
• Experience coordinating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Chinese and English; Cantonese preferred.
• Candidates with different levels of experience will be considered.
• Valid authorization to work in Macau is required.
• Experience in Macau, Hong Kong, or Greater Bay Area projects.
• Experience in commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, public sector, healthcare, infrastructure, or data centre projects.
• Familiarity with Macau authority submissions and statutory requirements is an advantage.
• DSSCU registration is an advantage but not essential.
