Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer – MEP to work on airport infrastructure, MRO hangar, and other infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for electrical design, site supervision, installation, testing, and coordination with other project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and earthing.
• Prepare electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Supervise electrical installation and ensure work follows approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and civil teams.
• Inspect electrical works and support testing and commissioning.
• Review material submittals and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and electrical safety standards.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with clients and contractors.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV power distribution, lighting, ELV, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Experience with transformers, MDBs, SMDBs, switchgear, and control panels.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Revit MEP is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of IEC/BS standards and UAE authority requirements such as DEWA.
• Airport, MRO hangar, or large infrastructure project experience is preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
