Electrical Engineer (NPI & Reliability)

Job Summary

Support NPI builds, manufacturing readiness, and reliability validation activities for consumer electronic products. Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve electrical issues and ensure successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Support DFM reviews for FPC designs.
• Design and debug flat-pack and debug connectors.
• Support manufacturing line bring-up and electrical test readiness.
• Conduct failure analysis (FA), identify root causes, and generate FA reports.
• Execute stress, coexistence, and ESD testing per customer requirements.
• Update internal tracking and reporting systems with test and FA results.

Required Skills

• Schematic design and review (Cadence OrCAD/HDL, Altium, etc…)
• FPC/PCB design support and DFM (Allegro, Altium, etc…)
• Connector design and debugging
• Failure Analysis (FA) and root cause investigation
• Manufacturing/NPI support
• Reliability testing (Stress, Coexistence Testing - Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/UWB/NFC, ESD)
• Electrical troubleshooting using lab equipment
• Technical documentation and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, NPI, Manufacturing, or Reliability Engineering.
• Experience supporting EVT/DVT/PVT builds is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record supporting successful hardware product launches from prototype through mass production.
• Knowledge of consumer electronics, AR/VR, wearables, or mobile devices.
• Understanding of wireless technologies including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and Cellular interfaces.
