We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer for rooftop solar PV projects. The candidate will be responsible for system design, installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar rooftop systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare electrical layouts for rooftop solar PV systems.
• Calculate solar system capacity, cable sizing, inverter capacity, and electrical load requirements.
• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and electrical drawings.
• Supervise rooftop solar panel installation, inverter installation, AC/DC wiring, and earthing.
• Ensure proper installation of DCDB, ACDB, isolators, surge protection devices (SPDs), and lightning protection systems.
• Coordinate grid connectivity, net metering, and utility approval processes.
• Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, inverter issues, low generation, and system breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards and solar installation guidelines.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, technicians, vendors, and customers.
• Prepare site survey reports, material requirements, progress reports, and commissioning documents.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor solar plant performance.
• Understanding of electrical SLDs, wiring diagrams, and cable sizing.
• Knowledge of inverters, solar modules, earthing, protection devices, and AC/DC systems.
• Ability to use AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of net metering and solar project documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical installation practices.
