Electrical Engineer (Shift)

The critical services technician will play a vital role inthe transformation of this landmark tower, which will become a state-of-the-artworkplace designed for the future. About the Role:
As a CBRE Critical Services Technician, you will resolve andcomplete day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction targets andensure completion in the time frame required.

This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services jobfunction. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in criticalclient environments.

Please Note: this role is a continental shift pattern (a mixof days/nights).

Role Responsibilities:
Qualify and act as an appointed AuthorizedPerson (AP) within 6 months from onboarding.

Maintain an up-to-date log of work completed andoutstanding items through the in-house system.

Ensure that all contractors and staff complywith all company, client safety, and security requirements.

Participate in the critical services trainingprogram.

Ensure effective communication with the clientand management team is maintained.

Operate as a team with other technicians bysharing expertise and experience to help resolve operational problems.

Provide holiday, training & sickness coverfor other members of the shift team.

Track and complete Critical Services PlannedPreventative Maintenance and provide condition assessments of plant andequipment.

Log and action all out-of-line situations withincident reports.

Use existing procedures to solve straightforwardproblems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

Impact through clearly defined duties, methods,and tasks are described in detail.

Deliver own output by following definedprocedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

Role Requirements:
Educated to a minimum of City & Guilds inElectrical (or HNC)

Excellent administrative skills

Highly conversant in Microsoft Office suite

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Apprenticeship (or equivalent programme inElectrical / Mechanical Installation).

Excellent knowledge of the operation ofMechanical & Electrical Services

Ability to interrogate and operate BMS systems

Knowledge of business-critical services i.e.,UPS, Generators and Comms Rooms etc

18th Edition IEE regs

Must be able to work under own initiative.

High level of personal integrity

Takes ownership of issues and ensurescompletion.

Able to organize and manage own workload.

Good communication skills both verbal andwritten to all seniority levels.

Understanding of customer needs and standards.

Presentable and smart always
