Electrical Engineer – Substation (Data Center)

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of substation electrical systems (HV/MV/LV) within the data center facility
• Monitor and maintain switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, protection relays, and grounding systems to ensure safe and reliable power supply
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to PM schedules and manufacturer standards
• Coordinate with utility providers (PEA/MEA) on power supply, outage planning, and substation-related matters
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of new electrical installations and equipment
• Prepare and update electrical single-line diagrams, maintenance records, and technical documentation
• Investigate electrical incidents/failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulations, and company EHS policies
• Support project teams during construction, testing, and commissioning phases of new substation/electrical infrastructure
• Prepare shift handover reports and coordinate with O&M shift teams for 24/7 facility operation
• Liaise with Chinese management and technical teams, providing technical updates and reports as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in substation/high-voltage electrical systems, preferably in data center, industrial plant, or power utility environment
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV switchgear, transformers, protection relay systems, and SCADA
• Familiar with Thai electrical safety regulations and standards (EGAT/PEA/MEA requirements)
• Good command of English
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a critical facility environment
• Team player with good communication and reporting skills
• Able to work Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00, and available for OT as needed
